Yesterday was my last day of classes at Western Alamance High School.
Am I sad?
Well I think we all know the answer to that one...and it's definitely a big, resounding NO. But, I guess you could say there's a little part of me that is. It's not sadness because I'm going to miss school, or the people, or this town. It's just sad that there's a part of my life that's over, and that from now on it's only going to get harder! Let's face it, high school is ridiculously easy. Everything is pretty much handed to you-- I think we're all struggling with the fact that it's not going to be that way in college. But as well all know, people adapt to change. And I'm sure I'll figure it out. Along with my friends. But the transition more than likely will not be easy.
I went shopping for some graduation presents yesterday...I had already bought Erika's, but then I bought Karin's, Beverly's, Vic's, and Britt's. I hope they all like the stuff I got them...I think they will. Then I went bathing suit shopping. We all know how I feel about bathing suits...they are my favorite.
Last night was pretty emotional, I guess you could say
So this morning I woke up at about 10. Erika called me when she got done with her exam and she came over here, where we talked and then we went to Harrison's for lunch. Harrison's- I will miss you while I am at UNC-C. I love Harrison's so much, and Erika and I definitely frequent there. So after lunch we came back to my house, then Erika had to go pick up her brother from school.
Then came the highlight of my day, of course. I had to go get shots for college!! aldkfjeir. You know it's really funny that the whole immunization thing is one thing they fail to inform you of when you get those acceptance letters. CONGRATULATIONS, SARAH!! YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO UNC-CHARLOTTE/UNC-GREENSBORO/APPALACHIAN STATE UNIVERSITY/PRINCETON/YALE/DUKE/ AKLDJFLKAJDF.....oh yeah and by the way now you get to be poked with lots of needles and stuff, and it will probably hurt. Thanks! Maybe I'm just a wimp, but I don't like shots. Oh well at least I didn't have to get blood taken, that's disgusting. Thumbs up to all you kids that give blood, you're much braver than me.
My night was finished off with me babysitting for a few hours and then coming home and watching American Idol. Let's all hope Fantasia wins. Diana DeGarmo= Diana DeGarbage
Got on here, talked to people. Talked to Wade for a little bit. Watched The Real World. Another one we should all hope will go home- Frankie. Get outta here.
