A fail-safe gone wrong; fueled by the pain made for a warning. the struggle is made a spectical, a laughing stock, a punishment. bare the shame and shove it deeper. work it in/back away. cripple yourself/pull yourself up. push it farther/run away. listen to her pleas; happiness with puppy eyes. will you never listen to her? you will forever listen to her. She'll hang on even after you've won, thats if you win. she'll be woven through the veins because they never leave. she'll stay close to the blood, her blood, drinking it for encouragement and reality. shes still here. no. shes not fighting you, you're fighting her. you always will be, even after you've won; but you wont win. you cant really win. marble may weaken and break, but it doesnt evaporate. clay may shrink and fade, but it wont melt away. and eyes. eyes may cloud and be skewed, but their tunnel will never end and will never fail. her stare is hers. listen to it.
