i hate lying to people. like the guy who just walked into my office checking on the status of the application he filled out 3 weeks ago. and telling him we're still working on it and that the person who handles hiring is out and when he comes in we'd pull it and someone would get back to him. or some variation of that. we're so grouchy and irritable here today, when the phone rings there's a big sigh or groan, like fuck, why is the phone ringing? stop calling! it's quite ridiculous. we complain about/avoid at all costs, work and working. while at work.

i'm really tired. nothing new in that i guess. dinner party tonight!
