(no subject)
Today I locked myself out of my dorm room when I went to go put something in the recycling. Both my roommates were in class, and my phone was inside. Along with a yummy calzone from Mellow Mushroom in the toaster oven. Molly came home about an hour later, and I was feeling pretty dumb.
Also I "launched" my website. Woohoo! You can now go to www.emilyvanness.com and find my work. There's still little things to be fixed and tweaked but I'm pretty happy with it.
And I've decided I'm not so sure how happy I am with the education I'm getting at SCAD. I'm hoping that it's just the professors I've had but I'm very frustrated by the lack of real critique that happens. I want to grow as a photographer. I'm not sure that any of the growth I have done in the last year is the result of my courses.
Maybe I'm just angry right now, and next quarter I'll be blissfully happy.
