(no subject)
My milk is like, in the process of coming in. My boobs got big and heavy and swollen and I can express way more than colustrum but not quite what I would expect to come out if it was actual "milk" but Ember seems to enjoy it she's been up every hour or so ready to eat. Little booger.
She slept from 1a - 6:15a last night, which was awesome. She fell back asleep around 9:30a and we woke up at 12:30p. She napped off and on the rest of the day for an hour ish or less at a time and then fell asleep sometime in the early evening and slept until 10pish? I didn't sleep during this time (tho now I think I should have, lol) because I wanted to get on the computer for a bit. Then I ran downstairs to eat (dad watched her) and took a shower and she woke up while I was finishing up. It's kind of been downhill since.
I got about 2 hours in and then she was up again. Another hour and 15 mins and then up again. Bleargh.
She falls asleep at the breast and pops herself off (literally) and I know she's out. Usually when I try to move her onto the bed or into the pack n play (but usually the bed because I like to cuddle!) she wakes back up and won't go back down until I nurse her again. So I've been sleeping on my back with her on my chest. Not the best way to sleep (my back is killing me and the scooting involved is not so good on the vag) but better than not sleeping, right?
My tears are starting to heal I think because they are more sore now than before. Everything feels tight and swollen. I would kill for some pain killers other than ibuprofen right about now.
Things with Isaac are going well. He is beginning to truly believe she is his (as am I - she's getting dark and is darker than I am - I'll get a picture of the two of us up later) but we are still going to do the dna test ($450!!! Taking donations... Lol) which is gonna wipe out half my savings which sucks. But he needs to know if she is really his.
If she isn't I will be amazed. I don't know where else the dark skin would be coming from. Rand and his family are like.. Pasty white. I'm more olive skinned but I'm definetly not as dark as she is.
Okays she's back to sleep! Going to hope for more than an hour this time! Haha.
