Why does my mother discuss her marriage with me? I'm your daughter, not your friend or confidante. OR THERAPIST. I can't get along with her anymore. It's impossible. I've been closer to my dad for a few good years, now. And that kills her. I'm not going to apologize for it. When you are the way you are...how can I possibly get along with you?
