Today I was home alone. So , I dressed up in my mom's polkadot dress, let my hair down, and pretended that I lived all by myself, free to do whatever I pleased.
I played Pizzicato Five really loud and jumped around.
I reread all of my Dr. Seuss books (and found that If I Ran The Circus is my favorite).
I wrote postcards to people I missed.
I took an oatmeal bath and played Sade.
I filled jam jars with water and put flowers from my garden in them.
I read a chapter from my never-returned Spanish book.
I made Indian eggplant for dinner.
I watched "Who Wants To Marry My Dad" and laughed so much.
I can't wait to be on my own. Then I can do this everyday.
