[Lucie peeks out from around the building, noting the guard's position and waiting for the right moment to make her move. The moment he turns and starts walking away, she takes a deep breath and strides out with an air of confidence.]
C'mon, you can do this. Just a few more steps, is all.
[Lucie deliberately swoons and collapses near the guard. She resists the temptation to peek at his reaction, as satisfying as that might be. The guard, for his part, looks alarmed and rushes over to help her.]
Who's there? Are you a scavenger? If you're here for my purse, you can have what you like, but please don't hurt me! I don't have an awful lot... [Lucie hopes her voice sounds faint enough; it's hard to tell with her heartbeat pounding loudly in her ears.]
[The guard identifies himself as a member of the Royal Guard and promises she's perfectly safe with him. He helps her up and offers his assistance. Lucie is thrilled that her ruse is working so far. Now for the crucial part.]
Oh, no.. I don't need a doctor to help me, thank you. Really, I think I'll be okay after a bit of lunch. [She smiles sweetly at him and softens her voice.] Could you please help me get to a restaurant? You're such a gentleman, and I don't know that I can make it very far on my own - I might faint again, and I'm afraid I can't walk very fast. [The guard stammers that he shouldn't leave his post. One leg wobbles slightly under her dress, just enough to look like she could fall again. The guard reluctantly agrees to take her to get food.] Oh, you will? You're much too kind, sir.
[Lucie keeps her inner delight and rather large grin under control and hidden as she walks away, 'assisted' by the guard. She'd like to see the Doctor try this.]
