What?!? A Cheerful Post?!?
Yes, it's true! I'm not here to rant or rave or post sad news! Hard to believe, I'm sure!
Last night, I got to meet an author that I love - Jen Lancaster. Jen, a New York Bestselling Author, has written Bitter is the New Black; Bright Lights, Big Ass; Such a Pretty Fat, Pretty in Plaid; and her new book, My Fair Lazy. She was in Dayton at Books and Co. for a book-signing. It was a bit bittersweet, as that store is one of two that my brother worked at when he was alive.
She writes about her life in a very funny, humorous way and is just a really nice person. A fun time was had by all! Here are a few pictures from the event:
