Writer's Block: Scorching day
Beach - I am very much a beach gal. Having said that, I am particular about my beaches - I prefer coastal or gulf beaches to lake beaches. I still go to lake beaches, but if I had my druthers, I'd be at the ocean in a heartbeat.
We vacation every summer as a family in Florida. And we are always on the Atlantic Coast and always spend as much time as we can on the beach or at the pool which is beachside. We have to travel in the summer, due to children in school, so we are almost always there in July, when the weather down in Florida is usually unbearably hot. We have found that there is almost always a cool breeze by the ocean.
As retirement age starts to draw near, my husband and I have even talked of retiring at the beach. We love the beach.
