GACKT will appear at MUSIC STATION ULTRA FES on September 23rd.
The 10 hour long show is to celebrate 30 years of MUSIC STATION and will feature most of Japan's leading artists. Already announced artists include L'Arc-en-Ciel, T.M Revolution, Arashi (practically all of the Johnny's artists, actually), AKB48, Sekai no Owari, Ayumi Hamasaki and EXILE.

GACKT updated his blog and blomaga. As you can see, the photos are from the shoot for the BIG CM a few weeks ago. GACKT's blog has been picked up by the media again this week because he talked about why he wears sunglasses all of the time. He said that it is because his eyes are not able to adjust to sunlight correctly and let to much light in and that he's pretty much blind in light without them.

GACKT appeared on Downtown DX on Thursday, but it was just an abridged version of his last appearance where he showed his house.
If you missed it the first time around, here's the full segment from the original appearance.

Game Center is back!
Games this week - Mega Man X, Spelunker Z, Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin!
Note - if the game has been given a Western release, then I use the Western name for the game, such as Mega Man instead of Rockman. If the game hasn't been given a Western release, then I use the Japanese name, such as Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin! (other games in this series have been released under the name of Yakuza in the West, but not this particular one)

♥Photo of the week♥
GACKT was having problems with his shirt during Game Center! on September 1st.
And a couple of extra things I don't really have official sources for...
1. G&LOVERS members received mail this week with details of the VISUALIVE ticket sales (30,000 yen for premium, 8,640 for regular tickets). On these mailshots, the tour was referred to as GACKT WORLD TOUR 2016 LAST VISUALIVE. This title isn't on his website, and there's no other hints as to what it means, so I wouldn't get too excited just yet as there's no way of know where he might (not) tour outside of Japan... He had a RRII date set for Korea before sponsors pulled out and he had to cancel it. I just hope that it isn't a badly phrased way of saying that the GACKT WORLD is going on TOUR
2. There's been a lot of talk about the future of the Kenshin Kousai because a couple of reports came out that potentially no more guests (such as GACKT) will be invited to take part in the festival. A lot of Joetsu locals, especially anyone involved in the tourism industry, aren't happy about this as the Kousai is one of the main, if not the main, source of tourism to the city. When GACKT didn't do it in 2011, attendance dropped 60,000 from the year before and that was despite the festival still having a guest. With no guests at all, it'd just drop lower and lower. IIRC, the 2011 figure is around 90,000 less than 2015's record breaking attendance, too.
Anyway... CAGS! How was your week? I've had a tiring week, so now that this is done I'm going to bed, hahaha
