[news] Lots of news for September 18th!

Sep 18, 2014 18:54

In short - new single covers, more Orchestra shows and another Square Enix tie up!

First, the covers!

I am not 100% certain on this, but the image files hosted on GACKT's OHP are numbered and these numbers seem to tally with the CD numbers, so I think I have the covers matched up right...

If I am right, this is the DVD cover.

Well, it's the last of the four seasons songs (Setsugekka, HAKURO, and Sakura, Chiru), so it would make sense that it reminds you of Setsugekka. ^^

Almost! They flow into each other.

Setsugekka is winter into spring
Sakura, Chiru is spring into summer
Hakuro is summer into autumn
Akatsukizukuyo is autumn into winter

It's pretty new information, I think. He was kinda saying that Setsugekka = winter and Hakuro = autumn originally, but seems to have refined the concept a little now that all four songs are written and done.

Setsugekka was released nearly five years ago now... o_O

Yeah, I can't believe it's been that long since that single was released. Personally, Setsugekka is still leagues ahead of the other three. 5 years... give us VISUALIVE!

Right, I should have realized something like that. Though I love the flow of it though, did you notice something (or this might just be me,) that he releases the song to coordinate with the right season?

Setsugekka - December 9th
Sakura - July 3rd (If counted as M/W Compilation)
Hakuro - October 10th
Akatsukizukuyo - October 1st

I agree that the release dates do resemble the flow from WINTER to SPRING to SUMMER to AUTUMN. It's imperfect, though. Daybreakers will be released just slightly earlier in the year than HAKURO was. Otherwise, the chronological order of the seasons and the release of the songs would be synchronized. Even though HAKURO was released before Sakura, Chiru...
