News round up for The 89th Annual Kenshin Kousai.
On Saturday, GACKT visited Kenshin's grave at Rinsenji Temple and prayed for a successful and fierce performance. He also did the usual press conference.
GACKT's main performance was of course on Sunday. Firstly, there was the departure to the front parade where he led the Uesugi army into battle and then there was the Battle of Kawanakajima re-enactment.

GACKT didn't appear alone. YOU, Sato, Takumi and GemCEREY CEO Takeshi Nakano accompanied him around the course. YOU-senpai and Sato-senpai were also in Joetsu for the G&LOVERS Gakuen summer camp that ran that weekend.
The festival can be considered a success....
210,000 people attended the 2014 "Kenshin Kousai", making it the third most highest attended festival.
It has been revealed today that 212,600 people attended the 89th Kenshin Kousai that was held in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture and starred musician GACKT in the role of Uesugi Kenshin.
GACKT has been appearing at this festival since 2007 and this was his second consecutive year and sixth appearance overall. All six of his appearances have broken the 200,000 people barrier and the highest was 2010 when 240,211 attended.

He had a wonderful horse this year... I kinda miss Snowman photo bombing everywhere though.
