It was definitely amusing and I could feel how everyone around me went "SHOKKU!!", as no one ever mentioned this detail in their reports before. I wish I could have Gackt use that extinguisher at our live too and get to know how that feels...
Glad to hear that! I never had the feeling that he'd fall during the lives I went to, too, so when it actually happened, it was an even greater shock. I think for both, him and us. Ah, no, that wasn't quite right. I never had the feeling that he thought he might fall for real. I just shoved it to the back of my head to concentrate on the show. Well, it worked. But it was still in the back of my head. xD I was too close to the speakers and the sound was pretty bad up there, so I can't remember, but watching the Bochum broadcast, he does sound different than in March for example, even though his voice is not gone..- How was the sound there? My friend who stayed farther in the back in Munich said that he sounded fabulous and that it didn't seem like something was seriously off. Well, until he fell and the crowd panicked a little.
It suits YFC, I guess.... but I can't quite deny that I wish there were longer MCs. xD And the announcement. Again, I SO look forward to the broadcast! I hope they won't cut it out and shorten the short concert even more..
Another thing that'd interest me is the crowd... The mood&atmosphere. I was told that the Japanese crowd was different from the crowd here (duh) as in, more passionate; You said it was hell - do you mean hell because the happy shoving/pushing/moshing was so intense? Long comments. Um. Shouldn't you be recharging your energy now?? IT'S LATE!
That extinguisher is amazing. It's such a refreshing blast of cold air... You can't see anything while the smoke is there, but it feels fantastic.
The sound at all of the Japanese lives has been fantastic. I thought it was just a GACKT thing that he's able to get such a good sound out of the venues but when I saw VAMPS the other night they sounded just as good in the same type of venue. His voice is always so loud and clear over the band, there really isn't any room for him to hide if he doesn't sound good. Even down the front it sounds great.
I can see the announcements being cut. I can't see them cutting the show though as it isn't that long to begin with. RRII was a four hour show that had to fit into two hours, YFC is only two hours to begin with so it might escape.
It was hell because pretty much everyone wants to be stood in front of GACKT. He stands in the middle, the crowd rushes to the middle. He stands by Chacha, the crowd rushes to Chacha. It's just a constant big push to wherever GACKT is. There's no moshing or crowd surfing or anything like that, just this constant scramble to get into a better position. Then add in the staff members who were constantly trying to push through to check if people were okay and to pull them out and it was just a battlefield down there.
And yes, yes... going to bed now! Last day of freedom tomorrow before going back to work :-(
Okay. You managed. I ENVY YOU. Seriously, as much as I loved seeing him in the flesh, feeling the crowd, the energy,... I hope the sound will be better next time. On the other hand, experiencing it like that is also was also... interesting. Ah... Now I feel the urge to listen to that voice...♥
You are right.. I have the feeling that WoWoW is rather about the music, not so much about the show with all its facets. But then, the opening movie of RRII wasn't cut either... However, I'm sure they will include it on the DVD. Because it's CRUCIAL!
Oh, I know what you mean. I was far to the right in front of Chacha in Munich and it was a lot calmer than in front of Gackt, even though I was in first row! But the people were VERY nice. It was like.. "Fight? What fight?? What are you talking about??" Judging from the reports, I guess that's not gonna happen in Japan at a GACKT concert. xD
:) Thank you for answering my questions. Sleep well and have fun tomorrow later!
