(no subject)
yeah yeah, i should be studying... i'd much rather write though. here's that update on the changes in my life i promised you. so much is different, i'm trying to figure out the best way to go through it all. i guess i can fit it all in four topics: school, work, boys, hobbies.
school - i'm taking 12 hours this semester. i started out with 15, but one of my classes wasn't working out unfortunately. it was my writing workshop class- the one i was most looking forward to. we needed to come into the class with a piece of writing already written and ready for critique.. and i didn't have any writing. i don't have time to come up with something creative with the rest of my course load.. so, maybe next semester. this is my first time dropping a class :/ i don't like the idea of it. other than that, school is great, but busy.
work - i currently work at a transcription services place close to campus. it's pretty easy. i just listen to recordings of people talking and type what they say. we are paid based on how fast we type which is really nice.. so i should be getting $8ish/hr soon hopefully. (the first 60 hours i was only paid the base $7/hr). i am happy with my job.
boys - i've figured out that 98% are assholes, 1% just aren't right for me, and the other 1% are taken. it seems that way anyway. (oh yeah, i'm single- no longer engaged. that's a few blog entries by itself lol). i do have a couple possibilities, but they're remote. although, there is one.. but it is sort of a complicated situation. it recently got a lot simpler though, yay!
hobbies - i'm still racing and still dancing. lately though, i haven't had much time for dance. i have started ballroom dancing which is pretty fun. i still totally love ballet. racing has been great, although i haven't raced my car in a while. i was in a wreck july 26 and am currently in the process of rebuilding her with josh. he's a great help with this, otherwise i'd have to take her to a shop.
i guess that's about it.. i'm sure i am missing some things, but i've got schoolwork to do so i'll update more later, maybe.
