Feelin' Super!
Lately I've had heroes on the brain. Super heroes that is. Wolverine, Batman, The Flash, Ironman, you get the picture, right?
Comic book characters have always fascinated me, not just because of their powers (or lack thereof) but their stories of why they do what they do is, well, fascinating!
Ever since The Watchmen came out, I've had the desire to write a fic similar to that for my primary fandom- Southern Vampire Mysteries (True Blood). That desire has not died down, especially not since the release of Ironman 2, Thor, and the upcoming release of Captain America.
So I'm excited to start work on that, and to start work on an epic fic similar to Thor. The epic fic is all due to a prompt in the Puck/Rachel drabble meme, though I've said it before, it will not be a drabble. Just not possible, lol.
I don't know how long it will be, but probably (at least) twenty, but that could change with the wind. I'm hoping to get the first chapter out sometime within the next three days, so you guys can see a litle of what it will be like. This will most likely be the prologue, as kind of a teaser. I'm hoping to write a bunch of chapters in advance, so you guys don't have to wait insane amounts of time in between.
I hope you'll like it, because I'm kind of nervous about doing something of this scale when it's only my fourth fic for the Puck/Rachel fandom.
