hipsters and hippies ahoy?
technically i got back today (albeit at the very start of it) from the hillside festival.
er, it was even better this year than last year. my itunes was hovering around 2900 songs and it's hit a full 3000+ now.
bought three cds (two by the same band) and one of these t-shirts.
i think i like going to festivals/concerts where i don't know the bands even more, because then it's just a fun discovery time.
SO YEAH.
oh and i started project 365 a few days earlier than i meant to, but hey.
it's still a hippie festival, even if i mostly listened to the indier side of things.
the main stage, saturday night, right before islands came on. they got kicked off the stage early because it was 11:30 and noise violations, blah blah. it was kind of hilarious, because they turned off the lead singers mic but you could steal hear him yelling
(and then on sunday ryan and i saw him walking in with the violinist and saying how they're going to "demand an hour" in the future or something)
yay!
i probably won't post the pictures all that much, unless i'm feeling indulgent. hope i didnt break anyone's layout.
