Since The Herald probably won't publish my (admittedly long-winded) letter in response to Peter Duffy's enraging article, I'll post it here.

To the editor:

If not, I am thinking of compiling all my rants to various news organizations over the years and publishing them in an anthology entitled "The Crazy Rants of an Armchair Journalist".

I'm really tired of turning on the TV or reading the paper and seeing a "representitive" of the "gay community" (whatever the fuck that is) who is as inarticulate as a block of salt. I am totally one of those people who yells at the TV. So as I was yelling at the newspaper on Saturday morning my husband dared me to write in and I can't pass up a dare.
