There was more before this, but the earliest I remember is standing in the doorway to a wooden cabin, set sort of wherever/whenever O Brother Where Art Thou took place. There were two women inside, dressed in old flowered dresses, and there was clothes hanging everywhere inside the room. We were laughing and hanging out, they were my friends, pretending to model. "Hang on," I said. "Do you want me to take pictures? I can go get my camera. Should I go get it?" They laughed in a positive response. In order to get my camera, I had to grab an old yellow piece of carbon paper hanging off three nails to my right of the door. There were cobwebs in the way; I reached through carefully, and pulled the paper off the nails, thinking how ironic it was that I was in the past yet I was going to get my digital camera.
I don't know what happened to the girls. The next thing i remember is a close up of a man, heavily built, with a long dangling scarf, warm coat, round goggle-glasses, but scrawny legs. The camera angles were cinematic, as if this was the introduction of his character in a movie. He was walking, somehow in Japan and Watt Ave and a tall grassy path in Mississippi at the same time, and (within the dream) it made me feel nostalgic about Japan. He was walking along a long path that lead up to a mail box with no house. The walk was slow but I saw it in fast forward, because I apparently remembered this part. He reaches the mail box, opens it, and peers in.
I don't know what happened to that man. There was a civilian army on a hill, and an armored army in the valley, and this movie was set in Monty Python Holy Grail times. We were the good guys, running down the hill in our civilian clothes. And we were getting slaughtered. On guy was stabbed with a log-like pole, which was then placed upwards so he could slide down it. He wasn't too happy about that. I was taken prisoner behind a man with an arrow sticking out of the back of the head, complaining that his head hurt. They were going to kill him, and then me, but when they weren't looking I ran over the hill (like the hill on the side of rivers with a path on top) and laid flat in the grass so they couldn't find me (it was night). An army man came to find me, stood on the path and blindly threw a small boulder in my general direction. It landed on me but I had to stay still and quiet. Then Marty, thinking that he was just throwing rocks for fun, threw a boulder at me but missed. I laid still 'til dawn, and the moment a child spotted me in the rising sunlight, I darted over a second hill where there was a large white room somehow related to.. Allison in Wonderland, maybe? Everything was now a big white room, and the enemy army was all lined up against the walls. I jump off the hill/wall, grabbing hold of a rope hanging off the middle of the ceiling, swing to a pillar holding a bunch of weapons, grabbing swords and like, letters of the alphabet or something, and sneak attack those mother fuckers, swinging around the room in circles, cutting everyone up.
That's all I remember.
