The Weekend Non-Update

I actually had an amazing stretch of days, Thursday through Sunday. Slept very little, had some amazing times in a variety of settings, and with a wide ranging group of people, some old and some new. Too bad I can't tell you about any of it here.

This is so lame.

Sadly, even among my friends list I cannot be sure what information is going where. Totally aside from that, until some of these personal issues are resolved it simply seems unwise (much as that pains me) to be too forthcoming in any form of widely accessible media (you can read that as "anywhere that could potentially be subpoenaed").

In some ways I feel that laurie and I are already so deeply stained with things that would not sit well with any court that a bit more wildness at this stage would hardly matter. Some of my more conservative friends point out that there's no point in pouring gasoline all over the living room just because the kitchen is on fire. Part of me responds to that with "fuck it, if it's gonna burn, let's burn it to the ground."

But while that may feel satisfying for me personally, it's a stupid attitude to take for the sake of my children. Sooooo, that's a long way of saying, no, I can't just do friends only posts.

For Lily, perhaps I can catch you up next time you're in town. For Jade's Imp, sorry my new friend, you added me at a tedious time. It'll get better....promise~
