Lots of artists like to live with their work for a few days when they're deep into a project.
OMG! Can Jessica fix the chrome legs to my lucite chair? The back two fell off (like I'm fat or something) and I need to like, have them soldered back on or something more industrial than I have.
i sincerely doubt i could do anything other than sorta rig it up for you... take a photo for me, like close up of where the legs fell off? i might could drill some holes and screw them back on.
The legs broke at the joint where they meet the undercarriage.
It's a solid lucite top, which has 4 holes that the chrome undercarriage go through, and then the legs are soldered on.
If the legs themselves are irrepairable, you could take the entire chrome rigging off, and create an all new bottom altogether. If this is the case, you are more than free to take the chair. The lucite is just such a lovely piece and I can't bring myself to replace it just because the legs kinda suck.
