Wellllll.....funny thing about the Cali thing. The place that was gonna hire Rick...they first asked him how much he made, he told them, and they replied with "Oh, well, you'll be having a SIGNIFICANT increase of income with us!"...and then when they asked Rick later for a salary requirement, they told him "don't be shy, and don't low-ball it, be honest"...so, Rick was, I mean he will have a major increase of duties, plus the cost of living is higher in Cali than in AZ...and they were like "oh gawd, that's more than we thought, we can't afford that!". WTF? Sooooo, we are kinda back to square one. It looks like we may be staying in AZ...Rick's in a new dept. at his job now with no stress, and more money, and he gets as much overtime as he wants, and his salary is not capped in this new dept. (they have more money to spend, and aren't strapped like the other depts), so it makes sense for us to stay there. I adore Cali, but I need my Pookie. So for now I am commuting, and seeing what I can find in AZ again. :( I will see where I am at around that time...it's in LA you said? I would love to go. :) Let me see what is going on around that time...that's the day before my bday, and Rick is "threatening" me with some sort of surprise for it. LOL.

About the LA Con - if it was just me, I would totally be saying hell yeah, but now that I am living with my boyfriend...it's a little different, I like have to make joint decisions with him now and stuff (it's been difficult to do that for me, since I am used to being just by myself)...as long as we can afford it, absolutely. Yeah, we went in highschool, and no shit, the bars on one side of the 'main drag' of cells are colder than the other, the guide told us that there are two theories, one is the 'cold hard facts' approach, that because of the way they were made, one side round, one side flat, that causes it, but people that work there will attest to the 'other' reason, that one side housed the more vicious criminals, and that side is the cold one :)
Well, we'll see how everything goes. Right now Rick has been like, sinking all his money into lawyers to fight against his ex-c**t wife of his. She totally lied to the court, said the kids live full time with her, when they don't...she is off being a whore and never sees the kids, and Rick wasn't at court to tell the judge she was full of shit. So, she demanded child support, and Rick's been paying it...enter Annje who says "Oh HELL no, I don't fucking think so!"...so we're getting the child support shit squashed because it's bullshit. See, if only Rick had grown some balls 7 years ago when he first had a crush on me, he never would have even MET his ex and been in this mess...LOL! But I will let you know. Rick knows all about you, so he trusts the girls to hang out, but he does love the show...Dean is his hero...seriously. :) I am actually making him a "Supernatural Soundtrack" - he loooooves the same music as Kripke, so I thought it fitting to make that for him, since it'll be a long, difficult road before us fans ever get an official SPN soundtrack. :(

You know, this poor little kitten is a little bit to thin. :( No idea where he came from, or how he got there, but he's not been very well taken care of. I need to fatten this little guy up! He is a good eater though, so I think it's from lack of food, rather than medical. :( He's a total lap kitty though, likes to be near me and snuggle and cuddle...and he loves his little blue duckie blanket I gave him. He hasn't quite figured out what to do with his kitten toys I bought him though...LOL!
Hope ya like it, then again, it isn't one of my fave movies, pretty much, the highlight was Jensen's character for me, until the end, Ugh, I have BIG issues with the end, being an individual, but hey, won't taint your opinion until you watch :P

Okej, I am soooo not amused here, my fucking strep throat has come back with a vengeance! So not only do I have to work 10 hours today, but AFTER work I get to drive 6 hours to Phoenix - it USED to take less time than that, but ever since I got back from Germany, Arizona thought it would be a cute idea to put a shitload of godddamn radar cameras up all over the I-10, so that cuts my driving time major. BUT, on a happy note, I watched TIH last night, and omg, that was so cute what Priestley did! The ending was kinda....blah...didn't do much for me, so I see what you mean. But Jensen did good with his character, but that doesn't surprise us. :)

Oh no, sorry for the strep hun, that majorly sucks. And hey, thanks for the heads up on the radar guns, cause my parents are headed to AZ this week, and my Dad has a lead foot, so it sucks that your driving time is shot, but I am glad I could warn the parentals. And yeah, I know, when I was in Danmark (how they spell it there, I meant to use 'a') there is like no speedlimit on the freeways, and I was like 'omg, these people are nutz!' hee, but I also didn't convert kmh in my head to mph, cause that would take too much brain power for a vacation!
And yeah, see that is my big beef (I can tell you now that you saw it) the director/writer guy justifies Priestly's complete 180 to the fact that HE says Priestly was using the outrageous clothes and hair to try to get attention, and when he 'washed it all off, and was scrubbed bare' it was who he really was. And I say NO to that, the whole time, he was STILL a great guy (hooked up the chick and Fuzzy and defended whore Tish) and he had his own individual style. I mean, if he had changed into this crazy 'trying to get her attention' guy from normal joe, they should have mentioned that in the process of the movie, like a little throwback to when he was supposedly 'normal'. I think the director didn't expect the backlash and made his rationale up for it, cause really, I HATE that Priestly changes for her, I mean, come ON, for a movie that claims to be about 'letting the true you out there' it sure killed the true Priestly pretty fast just so he could get laid. *sigh* NOT TO MENTION that Tish didn't defend him when that idiot closeted gay guy called him a freak, um, yeah, way to go Tish. Yeah, she totally deserved him *insert sarcasm here*
BUT yes, when he was REAL Priestly (cause that's what I think :P) he was hilarious! I mean, the whole 'I wish she'd hit some iceplant' about Courtney Love?! And the little dive he took off the counter, so funny!! LOVED the 'I love my kilt' thing too! And when he was all 'I punked you baby!' Hee, too cute for words!! He just had so many goood moments when he was the real him :)
