1. tell you why i friended you. - Because you friended me! by far, in my time at LJ, you are the person how has been the nicest and most outgoing to me.
2. associate you with something: a fandom, a song, a color, etc. Whedonism. One letter too many for hedonism.
3. tell you something i like about you. Your unrelenting positive attitude. Whenever i get cranky, which I sometimes do, you have always been really nice about it.
4. tell you a memory i have of you.Swapping CDs. there is always that moment when a friend ship moves from cyber space to "meat space". A moment of trepidation where you need to decide if you really want to extend the friendship to that level. You were very cool about it.
5. ask something i've always wanted to know about you. How tall are you?
6. tell you my favorite icon/userpic of yours. the wonder woman one where she is saying "oh no you don't"

Indeed. Part of my use of LJ comes from the fact that you (and others I know) are using it. It's that whole social thing...

when did you play your first DQ game? 1981.

I got a subscription to SPI's ARES magazine my freshman year, when I was at U of M, and picked up a copy of DQ because there was a discount for subscribers. (I got Universe that way as well; since they published Delta Vee as a separate game that was included with an issue of Ares, you could buy just the other parts and get the complete game for less than the full-box price.) I tried making a couple characters and playing with the combat system in 1981, and after I introduced it to my circle of gaming friends, it became our default FRPG through to our post-collegiate geographic dispersal.
