Hiya.
I think I will just write down some 2010 resolutions. I think I am learning from experience, to make resolutions super specific and achievable. Then at the end of the day, everyone feels pretty good aye.
Here we go:
1. I have an old Minolta SLR camera, but the film winding button is not working. My first resolution is to get it fixed so I can use it again.
2. To find the missing part of Crispin's digital SLR battery charger. Yes this is one of my new years resolutions. It shouldn't be, but it is.
3. To wheel my shitty bike down to the Leederville bike store and get the tire pumped up so I can ride it. Also, to fix the back brake so it doesn't make awful screeching noises.
4. To visit people with babies/small children that I haven't seen in a while/yet: Addie, Jenny and Atsuko.
5. Last year I inherited a sewing machine and an amazing sewing desk. In order to honour the previous owner and their generosity, I have decided that this is the year to learn how to sew. First I need to get the things to our house, and then I need to learn how to use them. I am spastic with machines so it may take some trials, but so many other people can do it, why can't I?
6. Clean up my internet use a bit - delete all the excess streams/contacts etc that I don't actually read or connect with.
7. Redo my art website (tinytown.info) so it works and looks a bit better.
8. Improve my market stall presentation (I sold stuff for the first time at a market last year but my display was very amateur).
9. Check out that Dr Sketchy life drawing night.
10. Try swing dancing.
11. Continue going to the gym at least once a week.
12. Try and also go to yoga once a week, but more realistically, once a fortnight.
13. Learn how to play basic guitar.
14. Learn how to make music on my computer.
15. Start a lyrics notepad and jot stuff down.
16. Make a proper website for my private tutoring and actually promote my services.
17. Finish up the boring-ass assignments I have to do in order to complete my Cert IV Training and Assessment.
18. Finish the last couple of units and complete my Cert III in Graphic Design.
19. Study a little Japanese every day. Try the Japanese Language Proficiency test at the end of the year.
20. Keep going to Japanese social event thingies.
21. Walk at least 20 minutes a day.
22. Read at least one book each fortnight.
23. Plan and go on an awesome Japan trip in July. ^_^
24. Get more money somehow.
Ohhh this list is making me feel tired. Ciao for now xo
