Today must be battered women's day or something. I spent a good hour listening to my boss and the other's who work in my office talking about the verbal and physical abuse that they had experienced. Now, as I'm sitting here, I just finished watching a movie about sexual abuse, and they're running a special about domestic violence in America at the moment. There is no answer to it. It doesn't take a certain woman (person) to be submissive in fear, but it does take a certain person, a certain callousness and coldness to raise a hand against another human being, to wish another person harm.
I clocked 24 hours at work this weekend. I am entirely spent. I haven't slept in over 3 days.
