I had an overall okay weekend. There were some great parts and some unbelievably shitty parts. I was still a little sickly which put a damper on the weekends festivities, but I overall had a pretty decent time.
Friday was wonderful fun with my darling Bailey. Met some new, nice people who apparently thought I was pretty funny which makes me smile. I love meeting new people that I really click with. It's refreshing to know that there are some genuinely interesting people on this campus :)
Saturday night basically sucked so we're not going to get into that.
Sunday it was rainy and gross so I slept in late and it felt incredible! Nathan invited me to see Matt Nathanson with him, which turned out to be a pretty amazing show. We walked all the way down to 6th street which I enjoyed because i LOVE the cold and walking so it was absolutely excellent. The show was great, the opening band was great, and Matt Nathanson is hilarious. Overall a great evening.
I'm really enjoying the colder weather. Just being outside makes me smile and I like that. I've been walking around a lot more. It's easier to enjoy everything around me when I'm not sweltering in the Texas heat.
Talked to Jon today for a while. Its been a long time since we've had time just to sit and talk and enjoy eachother. We get so busy and I think we've been taking eachother forgranted a little bit, but we're working our way out of that. We had a nice talk. He knows me well and knows how to make me laugh.
