27 - Time Flies...

Recently, I've felt like time has been moving at a rapid pace. Is it just me? And it seems that if it isn't one thing, it's another that is keeping me from the Quills these days. I really must do better. I feel so out of the loop when I can't chat on a regular basis.

Though I have been doing plenty of chatting in person. I'm rather impressed with the royals at throwing a week's worth of parties right after so much travelling. I'm rather a fan of parties and socializing and even I was feeling a bit run down by the end of it.

My favourite event was possibly the river gala where I was able to ride a pirate ship. The honour of being invited to the Queen's Garden party with my dear little cousin would rank a close second.

Another thing keeping me busy is that I'm planning an event. Alas, it's not bound to be filled with quite as much intrigue and food as the Masked Oshitari Ball in the fall but it is by far for a much better cause. Please do keep a look out for your invitations and other notices of the event.

A year ago I was an ideal example of a spoiled, lazy noble who never reached his potential and wasted the days away socializing, shopping and in the pursuit of pleasurable activities. While some of it was a front, I do have to wonder what happened to that man? Have I somehow matured into a responsible adult? It's such a horribly scary thought.

Let's run away together and forget about essays, charities, businesses, paperwork, evil editors and any and all responsibility. What do you say?

ooc: Nobles and rich or upper middle class commoners who may have a connection to Yuushi or be rather well known will likely be receiving a simple but sophisticated invitation to a charity concert held at the Opera Hall on June 29th. A few well known musicians will be listed along with 'and more'. The charity is listed as being for a new children's home in the area of town South of the East Market. There will also be a few blind auctions and raffles that will be held during the event. The price for a ticket is rather high but Yuushi is marketing it as a must-not-miss event and has a few other well connected nobles on his side to ensure that it becomes that.

Anyone can attend assuming they have the money for a ticket and the proper clothing. Or if they receive a complimentary ticket from a performer (they get two each).

Any questions please poke me on aim - sheepless sleep.
