24 - Burned
It seems that due to the recent events, members of the guard have requested to meet with me tomorrow. I suppose they must eliminate all those associated with the clinic and Inui from the suspect list. Still, it seems such a hassle.
I do hope that I may be able to get some answers from them while I'm there. After all, I have lost my place of employment and quite possibly a friend. All of the circumstances around this tragedy are so mysterious.
Kunimitsu, if by chance I truly am under some suspicions for something, I do believe that you are my alibi for that night and most of the evening. What would you like me to tell them if they ask?
Also, I don't suppose you could tell me what all of this investigating is about. The guards that came by gave off the impression that they wanted to speak to me about more than just potential fire starters.
Keigo, have you heard anything about what's been going on? The level of guard interest in Inui's clinic is not at all normal, not even with the tragedy of lives being lost.
Also, I don't suppose you've heard from Inui? I hate to think he's one of the lives that perished in the fire.
