Yes, that's a Garden State reference and yes, it's referring to an entry I wrote about five years ago. Although, my guy dresses a lot better, finally someone who wears jeans that aren't from Old Navy circa 1992. My claddagh ring is pointed to my heart, swoon.
I really am enjoying this year. It's only October and I'm still "fat" but I haven't cried as much as I have in the past and I've let go of a lot of silly little things that used to make me hate this school ... even though I sometimes hate it for different reasons, like having to go to meetings every other hour to talk about nothing or choose the new Provost.
Raspberry vodka, seltzer water and a squeeze of lime is delightful. So are dates into the city to grab brunch at Oliver's and walk around Central Park.
I should be studying, but I'm on Carla's computer and since mine has a virus I haven't been able to leisurely sit at a computer in my dingle since school started.
Maybe I'll go to bed, it's been a while since I've slept for more than 6 hours and I think I'll need some rest for the upcoming week/weekend.
