The Seven Days of Cas: Day Six
See, friends? I told you I wouldn't abandon the Cas!picspam! Sure, I'm like, a week and half late on posting this, but hey... Better late than never, right? Right?
I believe I mentioned last time that I consider 5x16-5x18 to be a trifecta of perfection in terms of Misha Collins' performances. It was so tough choosing just one quote for this because Castiel has so many amazing one-liners in this.
"I--I don't understand why you want me to say my name *beep boop boop beep*"
"I was on a bender."
"It's funnier in Enochian."
"Don't ask stupid questions."
["You're an angel!"] "A poor excuse for one."
"Sam, of course, is an abomination."
Misha Collins plays such an awesome drunk, it wasn't too over-the-top and perfectly believable. That scene, where Cas and Dean have their ~bonding talk, nearly brought me to tears, which is amazing considering the fact that the writers had been using Cas as comedic relief up until that point. The tears shining in his eyes as he talks to Dean about God's abandonment is so heartbreaking. Ugh, just typing about it right now is just killing me <3
And do I even have to say anything about this episode? BAMF!Castiel is so... GUHHHHH. Again, Misha frickin' blew it out of the water, along with everyone else in this episode. This was probably the best 100th episode of any show ever, everybody was pitch perfect. I can't talk about this right now, I will just go on and on and never stop because Castiel is so goddamn badass.
