Anyway, i thought I'd take a break from the UC essays. Almost done. Just part way through my last one. Thanksgiving was cool. Not the usual Van Zak crew, but enough of them. We took Omar (my sister's boyfriend) and his little girl Rory (I don't know how to spell her name) with us. She's sooooo cute and really smart for a 20-month old baby. I think the Karaoke might have scared him off, but the boy's got to know what he's getting himself into, hehe. Yeah, we, uh...we sing. It's become a family gathering tradition. And by "family" I mean group of people that I am in no way genetically related to. But hell, I'm closer to them than I am to my real family, so who the hell cares, right?
