Despite my frequent negativity and cynicism, I do enjoy "the holidays". Mostly I enjoy the Christmas lights because they are pretty. Amber and I like pretty things.
Last night I had nothing to do and I had to stay up until 5am to, of course, go to the station. I ended up going to a party with Nick, Katie, and others and I had fun. I met another girl with my name, except she spells it Alaina. It was the first time in my life that I met someone with the same pronunciation as me. She is adorable and has the same hair as that girl from the Rules of Attraction. Hot. I saw Russ Wolf sitting on the floor of the SMC, I was like, hey man. The party was supposed to be free cups for friends of Nick, but then these dudes tried to make us girls pay so we DIDNT, and drank their keg. Listened to Dave Attell, got really excited because Nick and Katie like Ryan Adams, got wasted and went to the station. Somewhere in between I had to talk to a cop because he let me into the building. That was exciting. I played Willie Nelson, the Old 97's, Cat Power, Ani DiFranco, and thousands of others!!! goodbye!!
