so a week ago i thought i mightve somehow escaped the college mail craze
but no.
colleges that have sent me mail in the past week
carleton was first, with a sentence something like "since you might be a national merit scholar, we figured we'd get in touch."
champlain was next, saying something like "since you're academically driven and love the outdoors, you'll love our school!" (where did they get THAT from?)
then ithaca
and ohio state
and today there was nyu
and middlebury
and st mary's
this

ridiculous
