NME + Nikolai

- Let's see if I can find more stuff that haven't been posted. LOL

- NME revealed their 100 Albums of the Decade list. While I am super psyched for Is This It being #1 (it wouldn't be realistic any other way *cough*) I am also absolutely outraged that Room on Fire is not on the list at all. Just saying. It was like #2 or #3 on their 2003 list, if I remember correctly.

- This is what Mr. Julian Casablancas had to say about this:
Julian Casablancas of The Strokes responded with pride and a hint of bewilderment: "It's totally crazy! I don't know what that means. Does it mean it's a good musical decade or a bad musical decade? I don't know, I'm such a bad judge of my own stuff. But I thought it was great when I heard. Recording the album was fun, it was stressing, it was exciting. I think if I was to know then that I'd be having this conversation now I couldn't be more pleased. I'm restraining myself now, I don't want to get carried away, but I'm pretty damn psyched with myself. Mental high five!"

- Seriously. Even Caleb's head is bigger than them. :/

Hamish Macbain explores how The Strokes shaped indie in the noughties.

With the current decade drawing to a close, we celebrate 10 years of music in the new issue of NME, on sale across the UK from November 18 - and look back at the heroes, villains, gigs, tunes and name the greatest albums of the decade.

- In Nikolai news, don't know if you saw his recent Tweets like THIS ONE, but the NEW ONE almost made me cry. :(
