1. I end up going on this dinner date which is actually a benefit which may, or may not, have something to do with librarians. I wander around this apartment and can barely talk to any of my guests. I want the two staircases, the elevator that opens directly into the living room. I want to have a powder room and call it that. There were even gift bags-- God knows why-- but I have finally acquired a Mason Pearson hair brush
2. Nick says that I have got to stop doing this. Jackson writes to ask if I gave him up for Lent. Some other man in the background is telling me that he is nice and if anyone would have ever properly told me this in elementary school, I would say "actions speak louder than words." Maybe it's the phase of the moon but I kind of just don't want to hear it from anybody. I am always hearing it from everybody and it's starting to make my eyes as well as my ears hurt
3. The weather is 52 degrees which I think means that it will be very warm. This is my third New York winter and I still don't get the transitions. Everyone has started talking about how we must get "real hot" for summer and this is a wonderful and mind blowing concept. I guess with seasons and outfit changes you can change how many sit ups you do and then try and figure out how to jam an air conditioner unit in your window.
The house with the spiraling staircase is not yours, and in the end you do love libraries more than hair products
