Author’s Note: Apologies for being a few days late again. This week got away from me a bit. This chapter was a struggle for me, and I'm still not entirely happy with it, but everyone who has read it seems okay with it, so I'm going to send it out into the world and hope for the best!

The impression that Rose had gotten from that trip was that he was worried about her. The Doctor thought she was broken, in need of repair from a broken heart. Initially she had believed that he was tiptoeing around her because he was angry with her, but now she realized it was something else entirely.
