Author’s Note: I kid you guys not: I have been writing this fic for over 2 years now. So the fact that it’s done, and is actually being posted is nothing short of a miracle. Special thanks to missalee and sugarsicons who both took a stab at helping me with comments, thoughts, and help over a year ago. And more recently, I really have to say a big thank you to lorelaisquared, who basically talked me into starting to write fic again and pushed me into finishing this back in November. I doubt I would have ever finished this without her support and cheerleading efforts.
(The bright yellow flames licked at the sky, blinding, devouring, and destroying everything in its path. Rose could only stand there and watch from a distance, hoping and praying that all was not lost.)
