vacationing with cute boy

Well, i went to Dayton, tried to set some things straight and i also got to spend a little time with Beth and Kiel. We went to Sake for some hibachi goodness. it was amazing and it was really nice to spend time with people i care about.
i stayed at Stev0s house for the sake of ease...all of my things i was moving were at his house. They are now in the garage of my old house. Stev0 wants something from me that i can't give him. i can't and i won't. the last thing i need or want right now is stress and pressure and to feel tied down. i don't want to feel like i am in a friendship OR relationship where i have to take care of the other person. i don't even want to take care of my self some days, but he is draining and he can be such a mess, i don't have the energy or desire to deal with that.
Okay, then Pat and i talked a little, he is doing well i think. he looked great (very tired though) and he sounded like he is doing well. i think he is figuring things out on his own.
i spent the weekend with Aaron at his parents Lake House in Kentucky. it was amazing. i don't know what else i could say about it, but it was one of the best vacations i have ever had. it was low key, no computer or phones, comfortable and gave me a lot of time to gain clarity on my life. i need clarity. i need to know that i am doing the right things once in a while.
i have come to realize how WONDERFUL a friend i have made in Aaron. i knew he was great and fun, but he is just such a down to earth, thoughtful, caring and supportive guy. i am very lucky to have him. its always good to have wonderful people surrounding you.
the unfortunate part is that he lives many hours away. we have planned some visits in the next couple months though, so it will be fun to get a break from time to time to hang out and have fun!

Friday night:
got into the lake house around 11:30pm.
put things in respective rooms.
poured up some Jack and Diet Cokes.
chatted with the parents and drank until about 4am.
slept like a log. very good dreams and super happy!

Saturday:
Woke up late and had an amazing breakfast waiting (breakfast burritos and what not)
relaxed the day away on the deck.
walked down to the water and watched everyone fish...i skipped stones instead of playing with a fishing pole.
the culinary styings of Mrs Bauer were outstanding-she made us an amazing beef tenderloin, potato salad and Bananas Foster! (i've decided i LOVE food that i get to watch being set afire!)...i haven't eaten like this for....a LONG time!
evening ended at a camp fire across the road at Mike and Patricia (i think) log cabin...got wasted and wandered home around 12 or 1am.
we are now out of the gallon of Jack Danial's that our adventure weekend began with :-(
slept like a log. very good dreams and unbelievably happy!

Sunday:
Woke up to the glory of biscuits and gravy a cigarette.
relaxed and watched a "the notebook".
showered and drove over to the Marina and boarded the Houseboat that Bill and Connie(i think) own.
cruised around the lakes for the entire afternoon and parked the boat for out cook-out dinner.
burgers, brats and enough whiskey and margaritas to kill any single person!
my sunglasses and cheeseburger went overboard and i wanted to cry a little bit. Aaron was sweet enough to try and save them, but it was a quick sinking pair of glasses i owned.
Bill took me up on the top deck and set me at the captains wheel and i drove the boat in to dock! i have never driven a boat before (especially scary since i was wasted and had a smoke in one hand, a margarita in the other!). i didn't try to park the thing though, that was too much skill.
once off the boat i realized how tipsy i had been from the combination of alcohol and the boat swaying...it was a pleasant feeling though. a very very cool day! i got a little sun on my shoulders , but didn't get fried to death at least!
once back at the house we were served "mama bauers famous margaritas" and homemade icecream.
we ate that mixed up some other random drinks and walked back up to the cabin to see if there was a fire going that evening. not much happening there,we sat for a bit and then i fell asleep on aarons lap coz i was so tired and also scared of the coyotes and random wild animals. he walked me home and i was sleep walking the whole way! he said it was pretty funny. i can only imagine.
Paul Jessica Aaron and I went back to the deck and shortly thereafter i went to bed. wasn't ready to sleep since i felt like i was still on the water, so i got back up for a while.

Monday:
woke up with a little case of the bed spins, not sure if its from drinking or boating.
breakfast was a sausage casserole and banana pancakes -- to die for!
hung out for a while.
packed my bags.
went to the store with Aaron and his mom.
packed the car up.
piled in and drove back to Chicago.
Chicago arrival was about 9pm. shitty traffic and stormy skies.
hung out with aaron and reflected on our wonderful trip.

Tuesday:
Woke up at 5:30am and drove home to LaCrosse.
almost fell asleep on the road.
got back, unloaded my car and had to go get Nero for some babysitting.
i napped once my parents got home and spent the rest of the night screwing around rearranging my room....

i am so happy. someone kick me in the face!
i need more laid back weekends in my life!
