tennessee day two/three:
ate another delicious vegan cookie, sat in the grass of a beautiful park where there were plenty of adorable babies and dogs, was given folders of documents that were both unexpected and totally mindblowing (in the best way possible), met and talked with a number of incredible men who were involved with the gi movement/various other social movements (one dude was the founder of one of the biggest southern civil rights organizations of the 1960's! whoa!), got the phone number for the first american woman who was a vietnam war resistor (whoa!!), shared cute eye contact and was then both approached and complimented by this real cute lady, experienced dusk during a perfect summer day (while walking by a lilac bush where there was a cute dog sleeping underneath with a beautiful sunset in the background) and remembered why its my absolute favorite time of day.
