(no subject)
basically..
we ended up leaving the farm after only half of the days we planned on being there. this was for many reasons. the main ones being that.. we felt that we were unwelcome and that our work wasnt being appreciated. also one of the owners of the farm is probably the most arrogant jerk i have ever met in my life. when we were saying goodbye to him this morning he said something that made my whole body hurt because i just wanted to punch him or yell at him or just push him into a giant hole.
but there were very good parts about the farm. it was one of the most beautiful places i have ever been in my life. we got to sleep for free in this cute little camper with a wooden deck looking out over the italian hillside. we got free organic homecooked meals three times a day and we met some awesome people. one of them is a boy from germany who looks so much like kev that it freaks us out a whole lot. but he became a good friend and we wish he had left with us this morning. we all sat in the camper until late last night being so sleep drunk and so ridiculous. man. i miss him already.
this morning we said our goodbyes to the nice people we met at the farm and said good riddance to the mean people we met at the farm. we went with steffano to the vineyards and worked there for a few hours until the sun was hot and it was time to go. steffano picked us three roses from the rose bushes that grow alongside the grape vines. he drove us to the bus station and said caio caio caio and drove away.
now we are in florence and we have no idea where we are sleeping tonight. we have no idea where we are going for the next five days and all we want to do is meet up with bella (bizzaro kev) and frolick in the ocean.
