rambling.
right now i have a fever and i have a sore throat and somewhat of a stuffy nose and last night i hardly slept one wink but i am not going to let it get the best of me and i am going to pretend that really i dont have a cold because today we are making our way to the peabody museum and ive heard that they have a whale skeleton and im hoping maybe they have a lifesize replica of a giant sloth but i am not going to get my hopes up. giant sloths and narwhals. those are my two favorite animals. okay other than elephants. but i mean come on. sloths the size of elephants? the best of both worlds right there.
oh and i am also attempting to plan a trip to norway so i can go out on a boat and see a pod of these little narwhals. think about if you were to see a whole bunch of those guys in person! just think about it! what would you do? i wonder if they're friendly. cause i would totally want to swim around with them. unless there was the chance of them stabbing me with that gigantic horn. but i dont think they would do that. i think they are probably really nice and just want to cuddle.
last night i layed in bed for a few hours thinking about tattoos. i came up with all of these really ridiculous ideas but i was so sleepy that i dont remember any of them except for one. and that is a cute little whale who would go right underneath my elephant and he would be holding a sign that said something but i cant remember what. oh wait. then i thought of getting two more animals on my other arm. a giraffe and maybe a panda. or a koala. oh and also another woodcut on my right arm. that is a definite. and with all of that crazy money i made at the flea market i can definately afford it.
ryan set up a keyboard in the kitchen and so now we can have band practice. our band consists of just me and ryan and we sing like mates of state but both of us cant really sing that well and we mainly just sing mates of state songs but we dont know all of the words so we just sing the same part over and over again. sometimes we sing billy joel and sometimes we sing christmas carols. maybe we will start playing in subway stations.
i won an elephant cake pan from ebay and its just ridiculous. maybe i will make an elephant cake to celebrate the arrival of gabe and another to celebrate the arrival of beth. best friends and an elephant shaped cake. it doesnt get much better than that.
