I have thought it over...
I am seriously thinking of changing my LJ to 'Friends' only. Just in case, for there is a very slim chance of anyone, that I personally know from my past, that may become upset over what I have divulged to the masses. The last thing I want to do is hurt people that may have hurt me in the past, what's done is done and I don't want to rekindle that part of my life again. Then, I can sort of screen of who I want to see my personal dabbling. I do not know if my sisters even have journals here. Also, I have personal concerns over the snagging of my poetry, not that I feel the need that my current poetry is desirable, but rather to get credit where the credit is due. I don't mind if someone snags a poem if I was to be acknowledged as with rightful ownership and having someone to ask me beforehand. I plan to transfer most of my handwritten poetry into my LJ and I had problems before with people snagging my past poems from the message-board that I used to moderate and posting them on another message-board, while claiming the work as their own. Luckily enough, some users at my community were active at other boards too and alerted me to what was going on.
Although, I am still debating on either way. So, a lock down may come into effect within a blink of an eye. I may be trolling my current message-board pals to visit my LJ and I might have some ramblings that are just too personal too share with them. After all, I do not want them to think I am totally off my rocker.
Yeah, I understand that the LJ site is mega huge and the chances of my LJ even being noticed are slim to none. But, as I participate further into LJ communities, my profile will be more readily noticed.
