Attention, attention, may I have all your eyes and ears of the front of the room?
This is going to sound very, very odd. But.
I don't think anyone from here is from Memphis, but if you are, or know someone living in the area (particularly around Beale Street) and could do me the biggest favour of my *life*, can you let me know?
My dad's car went in for repair, among other things to fix the cd changer which was broken and had trapped several cds inside. Someone at the garage stole all our cds, and while most of them are replaceable, one was not. My dad went to Memphis a few months ago, and while on Beale Street one day, heard this amazing musician playing on the street. His name was Big Jerry, he was brilliant, and my dad bought one of his cds from him, which Big Jerry signed for him. It was called "Live At..." something. My dad loved the cd, and is quietly devastated by its loss. I know it seems like a really daft, really trivial thing, but he has a huge case coming up, I'm barely going to get to see him for the next eleven weeks, and if I can somehow get another copy of this album, it would mean so much to both of us.
