so you know how for a period of time it was cool to hug your friends?
maybe it was some weird posi/straight edge/hardcore kid thing
i'm not sure
but i know that from the age of 16 - 19
everytime i saw a friend or i was leaving
it was hugs all around.
not just me, but everybody.
so my question is
since its no longer hugs all around
and hugging is not the norm
if you see a person that you were friends with during that period of your life
and you havent seen them in years
is it appropriate to hug them?
is it expected?
AND furthermore, if you DO hug them,
are you then obligated to hug your other friends in the group as well?
is there hug favoritism?
