New Mexico
So I just got back from my trip to New Mexico with Holly and the family...It was alot of fun. Her family is so funny and cool. Everyone kinda has their own character which makes the event alot more fun. Holly has a cousin named Matt and he is 35 but his mental disorder makes his brain function at a 3 year old. After hanging out with Matt over the past few days, it has made me look at myself completely different. Here I am complaining about every blemish, fat roll, anything like that...while there are others who could have so much more to complain about. It's important to realize that there is always somebody that is going to be prettier than you, smarter than you, funnier than you...but it's not about that. It's about finding something that makes you happy and sticking with it. For Matt it is coloring. I sat with matt and must have colored for a good 3 hours. He colors all day. It's what makes him happy. Anyways, the trip was amazing. We got to visit the White sands. So much fun, although I'm still finding sand in places I didn't think sand could go. Wink Wink. On the down side, didn't get much excersize which means I gotta step it up this week!
