Well the barb wire has been moved and we do have more acrage then you do(plus trying to get the other land fenced now), not to mention ours was strictly trees and dirt. So grass is still in the process of growing. The piles are burn piles that are going to be removed shortly. The fencing at the time was just to keep the wild animals away, but we have corrected it. We moved it to the inside. And because everyone is so busy we have no time to do things. It's very frusterating but with time it'll be amazing. Dad works til 6pm every nite now, so it's hard for him to get a lot done right now. And on the weekends we're either at a horse show or rodeo so it takes away the time we could spend there. Eventually it'll be a kick ass place, but for now, it's up to our standards and that's the only thing that matters. Not tryin to sound mean, just pointin out things are different then they were. It's a working process. Nothing can be perfect w/in a short amount of time.

What does he mean by he lied because he knew it was you? Where are your horses going?

well, everyone has their own opinions and such. but from an outsider's view, and from a fellow horse-person.. i personally wouldn't board there quite yet. nor would i offer boarding, if i were you, until things were completed. but that's just my opinion. and as far as working goes, my dad works til about 5pm everyday, comes home for an hour or two, then works another job atleast 3-4 nights out of the week (plus saturdays and usually sundays) til about 1 or 2am. yet he still manages to keep our place in running order and help feed the horses when i can't. and instead of going to shows and rodeos and such, we concentrate on bettering our facility. though, we'll be relocating soon enough. but that will take up even more time than even this did.

he lied about things and said those things about my horses and said he had his own horses, he went to fort worth, etc etc. because he knew it was me and he wanted to tick me off (what a run-on sentence).

as for where my horses are going, read my journal tomorrow night. it should be announced by then. until then.. it's a secret! =X

Not everything can be perfect. Anyone running their own buisness will straight out tell you it takes tons and tons of time, especially if done from pure straight out scratch. It doesn't happen over nite.

What we've got right now is a small horse stable. After we secure everything here, and fence in the other land we just got, it'll be different, cause we'll be having 2 barns, 3 riding rings and so forth. Why do you think no one is boarding yet? Because we've told people yes it's open but they have to wait a little bit longer. And yes, they agreed. After everything's completed, it'll probably be one of the most inexpensive yet great barns around here. And the people that have came so far have all agreed it'll defenitly be a really good stable once we finish everything. Mr Burns from Swiftcreek came out today to talk to me. It's all a matter of time. Time is everything.

As for dads, my dad helps turn in and turn out too. But again, my dad also runs his own buisness as well.

And as for horse shows and rodeos, it's something I enjoy. Not to mention when you're trying to get your name out, it helps. Once your name is out, you're in. And again, that also will take time.

i agree. everything takes time. but doing things correctly, safely and innovatively is a plus.

actually, once your name is out.. that's when all the problems start. because people begin to run their mouth about you. and it's not always good stuff. and just because your name is out doesn't automatically mean you're 'in'... whatever that means. that takes know-how, honesty, hardwork, dedication, and the best you can offer and do.

Nothing is unsafe or incorrect at my place.

And yeah sometimes it can be a problem, that's the negative on it. But there's positive on it as well. It does also take know-how, honest, dedication and hard work as well. I think it's funny that G & S and all them were getting so mad at me for taking things so slowly with Jewel, but I could put her up against any of their wp horses, or even some of the "great" horses competing at Midstate or Croft or whatever and more then likely beat them. I can't take all the credit because she was naturally given the wp jog, but I've done a lot of "fine tuning" it. And because I broke her on my own, I know her forwards and backwards. A lot of people tend to rush young horses, and that's where the biggest mistake will be made. Why do you think most of G & S's horses go lame? Or they really don't place well? Or they're set off to camp? Makes sense. I'm not trying to diss them or anything, my point was being that there are people in the horse world they think they know what they're doing and they don't, and because of their lack of knowledge and commen sense, majority of the horses coming from them are screwed.

Uh, I am somewhat insulted by that comment.

Not to be vain but to be proud, my horse has beat out Lindy, Amy, and all the palominos at Midstate and I would consider him one of those "great" horses. And considering he has actually gone out there and beat those horses, horses that have been to apha and aqha shows including world shows, I find me saying he is "great" is not a lie.

Don't say something like that when you aren't likely to beat them. You haven't gone to any of the shows with her. You sure do plan them well, but fail to show up. If you can take her out there in that ring in a full western pleasure class and beat them, by all means, brag. But don't do it before you but the horse in a show ring.

Your getting extremely too cocky for my taste.

P.S. It is very very annoying that you take a bloodline name (Zip) and use it to just make up a name. An appy name at that. Having a actual horse from that bloodline, it pisses me off. Thanks for making the bloodline look shitty.

Btw, I just wanted to get all the shit out on the table. I couldn't hold it back any longer.

Congrats. Do I look like I care or feel like arguing with you? No. And I have shown her. Just not at midstate because the judges suck. And I do have videos/pictures to back that up. And you can complain all you want. People use horse names all the time. I'm not going to respond back to whatever you say(if you say something) so don't except me to. I'm a lil too old for it. Later.

I'm sorry, I can't see through the computer. Because I know everyone has that ability.

I've shown at Croft too, the judges are just about the same. So don't use that as an excuse.

Yeah, the idiots use names are aren't in their horse's bloodline. Don't even target Cobalt, because I got that name from book and the rest was made up. I didn't take it from any bloodline.

And yes, I was very much so implying that you are an idiot. I thought I would tell you so you wouldn't have to think so hard to figure it out.

Then why aren't you too old to be calling your truck a name? To me, it's pretty immature and juvenile. Why aren't you too old to be saying lil and talking the way you are? Adults spell correctly and don't say "playin'" and "lil". At least the ones that are educated correctly.

Thank the gods my brother is not from your generation. I would personally kill him myself if he was. Why you ask? Because I have found people your age to be absolute idiots and morons. That includes you.

this is getting REALLY immature.. let's set a few things straight... who CARES what your horse beat at mid state IT'S A BACKYARD HORSE SHOW!!!! Nobody bent over and kissed your horses ass except you, you are probably into that kind of thing.. and who CARES what name you use when.. bloodline look shitty? Bloodline look shitty? Is that the BEST you can honestly come up with, that's just fucking sad.... Worst comeback I've heard in a long time. Who cares why an appy is named that? It's personally none of your bussiness and none of your concern. Names for trucks? Goodness that has got to be another dumb topic you have goin on.. WHO GIVES A DAMN WHAT SOMEBODY CALLS THEIR FUCKING TRUCK... Immature and juvenile? The only one who is that is you for trying to pick out the DUMBEST shit to make somebody else look stupid... And dont make comments about a person's education just because they use slang online...your sarcasm humors me to the fullest extent. Enough with your melodramatic " I'm so full of myself that I am going to bring up all this shit that is going to make me look really stupid" attitude.. KISS ASS

Lmao, of course you would reply to this.

I don't give a damn who cares. And if the show is so small and such, why is Jenni bragging about her horse being able to beat all of the "great" horses there? There has to be some significance to it. Uh, I'm not "kissing my horse's ass", I'm stating what he has actually done, rather than what I sadly think he can do.

You say this is getting immature, when you are the one saying immature things to me. Such as I kiss my horses ass and like it. Um, thats something a 5 yr old would say. It's not very mature on your part.

Yeah, Lightning (and it's amusing Jenni didn't even spell it right at first) is a disgrace to the use of the name. And yes, he does make the bloodline look shitty with "Zip" in his name.

A comeback is a witty reply. Considering Jenni didn't say anything in there for me to reply to about that certain matter, it wasn't a comeback. Buy a fucking dictionary.

It isn't like you come up with the best comebacks either. At least it didn't take me 5 min. to come up with that, unlike you.

I'm sorry it actually is a immature and juvenile thing to do. I can't help that, and many people would agree.

I'm not full of myself, not in the slighest. You wouldn't know that though because you don't know me personally, now do you? I can't help but be proud of my horse and how far I have come with him. I'm sorry yours can't do shit to be proud of.

When I said Jenni's generation is full of idiots and morons, I did mean you as well. You just proved my point.

it may be backyard, but seeing as how you don't even show, much less can you even ride worth a damn, i honestly don't think you have ANY room to talk.

and nope, she doesn't have to bend over to kiss her horse's ass (yes, horse, not pony.. like your little nag), he's not quite that short thank you.

'your sarcasm humors me to the fullest extent'.. melodramatic..? yeah.. you would have to pull out the thesaurus to compete with tara again, per usual.

Reply

oh_lamour June 25 2004, 06:14:22 UTC
first and foremost, that's a boldfaced lie.

and like tara said, until you can prove it to us, don't talk the shit you talk. and yeah, that's all you can do is JOG that damn horse. you're too scared to canter her or something obviously. when my horse was that age, he was out placing at shows. not sitting at home rotting away.

and yes, you are trying to diss them, otherwise, you wouldn't say those things.

and if george and saundra aren't decent horsepeople, then WHY do a ton of people turn to them, have boarded with them, etc. etc.?

now, i may not be with george and saundra anymore, but i still think a lot of them and always have. i was very close to them.. close like family, and i will get defensive over things that i feel are said that are wrong about them.

oh, and.. i honestly don't see how you can say they start their horses too early when.. tara and i were both breaking rebel and foxy with the assistance of george when they were what.. 20 months old? and look at those horses. they've turned out just fine. nothing wrong with either of them. same with delight. and since you can do some bragging, here's mine: i have the upmost confidence that tara and i can easily kick jewel's ass english and western. with delight and rebel. not even cobalt and red (who have, by the way, showed and placed at many shows and circuits for the past 3 years).

I'm just gonna say lmao to all of it between you 2 and I have major confidence in my horses. And I'd love to see us all compete one day. But Kim, you don't even show. You used to, but then every time a show would come up you'd either be sick, or come to the show, say Red was acting up and not show. And you don't even ride Rebel, if you want to get techincal. And lmao, why do you think Ashley's horse got sent to a trainer after you messed with it? I could keep going and just be mean as heck but I'm not. And yeah, maybe I went a little too far w/the G & S thing, but stuff I've heard and seen. And Tara, I never said anything to your comment because I believe I said "I'm not going to say anything back if you decide to write something back". Duh. Oh Ashley look, no slang! *rolls eyes* Could this be any more pathetic? Hate to break it you girls, but I'm not going to be responding ANY MORE to anything on this website, so don't write back cause I won't be responding. Too childish. We'll all take it up in real life at a show one day. That is, if everyone goes. Oh and btw, I have confidence Prince could whoop ya'lls butts too.

Damn, I never thought just because someone says they aren't going to reply to anything else said, means that no one can reply.

Did I ever ask why you didn't reply? No. Did you even read the comment I made? Obvioulsly not because you would then realize that I never asked such a question.

That big ball of talentless fur? "Whooping" our butts? Rightt. At least I trained my own horses and they weren't sent to some trainers to have them try and train them.

Why not respond? You get to see what I think and I can vent a little.

well my big ball of talentless fur is not so talentless anymore sweetheart.. You REALLY need to watch what you are saying because you dont know what horse you are talking about... and kim, I can ride.. I've been in riding lessons for the past few months.. with a HELL of a good teacher, probably a lot better training than you've had.. so if you want to pick a bone on that one too, we can see who can ride better, at least I wont break my horses back getting on him... whoopie for you "training your own horses" but let me tell you a little something.. I dont own a little " you can drag me through hell and I'll still love you because I'm a western fat and and ugly quarter horse either" I have one of the most elegant breeds around, also the most high spirited.. so if you want to put your "HI HO SILVER" up against my peacock, try it bitch.. best of luck, and I feel sorry for you

Reply

oracledarkling June 25 2004, 20:38:56 UTC
He isn't even a quarter horse. Shows how much you know. He's a grade horse. So yeah, I can take my grade horse out there and beat registered horses, english and western.

He was a pleasure to train. I can actually say that about my horse because I know, while you can't. Oh well if he is a little fat, he can still get out there and perform like he should.

I don't find saddlebreds to be elegant. I find them extremely ugly.

Uh, just because my horse has manners in the show ring and when I'm riding him, doesn't mean he doesn't have spirit.
