Looking Forward
Sarah and I are heading to the Cape Friday afternoon. And by 'heading' I mean flying. We got a sweet hookup for a shuttle flight to Boston, then we just need to grab the bus to the cape. I believe we're meeting up w/ Sarah's friends from Minneapolis who are visiting Boston. I'm hoping for a weekend full of relaxing, beaching, food on the grill, and quality times with some friends.
We fly back Monday afternoon and should arrive back home here in our apartment at a very reasonable hour. I'm so looking forward to it.
In other looking forward news, i have an interview today to be a mac genius at the 5th ave apple store. I haven't been able to get as many hours as i need to with my current job (try half as many on average) and i had talked to an apple recruiter the last time i was job hunting who told me to keep them in mind if i was looking again. So i emailed her and she called me back within minutes, and i took some test over the phone about what do you do when this happens, and what's this mean type of shit. I'm curious as to what type of pay a fulltime genius receives, if they want to hire me and i take the job apple would fly me out to Cupertino, CA for two weeks to train... at Apple i guess? I'm not sure really, but that would be cool, and also shitty. I don't want to go away for two weeks.
So anyway, I have that interview today at noon. I lucked out today because i have to be onsite for a client today at 10 on 59th st and they are a block and a half away from the apple store. success!
I had band practice last night, and i didn't get home until like 1230. Thank you F train. I wasn't paying attention and ended up at Jay st (the F was running opn the A line after W4 st station) had to catch an F back up to 14th st and take the L (the F wasn't stopping at Delancy yesterday i was pretty annoyed that i couldn't take the J home). So yeah i'm a little tired i got to sleep around 1:30.
