If you hate the brushed metal skin for OS X then check this plugin out.

Changes the Brushed Metal to a Smooth Graident
In All applications, where you had a brushed metal skin will now have this smooth gradient. The most impressive change is in safari, because safari is ugly as fuck, but not anymore.

The Finder window is a nice improvement over the brushed metal as well. I never liked the pin stripe, and i've never liked the brushed metal either. I've always liked the "smooth metal" look of iTunes, this new skin is a bit lighter than the itunes skin, but it's much nicer than the shitty brushed metal.

NOTE: If you have itunes 7.1 don't choose to install the itunes skin plugin, just leave it alone. I changed it, and i didn't like it. I have the buttons set as graphite not blue in teh sys prefs, and it reset them to the red tellow and blue in itunes. I then changed it back, but had to reinstall itunes to get the library to show up again. So if you install this skin modifier then don't choose itunes, itlooks the best the way it's defaulted. If you're itunes library doesn't come up after installing this then follow these steps...

- Delete iTunes.app from Application folder.
- Deleted the files named "iTunesX.pkg" and "iTunes.pkg" found under the folder "/Library/Receipts/".
- Reinstall iTunes 7.1

I like this new look for osx way more.

Enjoy!
