I was talking with kate on the phone last night and we were talking about how we really weren't that great at saving money and what not. Eventually the subject of coupons came up and to both of our surprise, we had never cut coupons before. I knew it was a little odd to do it but I thought if we were to progress with each other, exploring different cost-saving methods was not only prudent but could also be fun and enjoyable. So, over the phone we discussed the act of cutting coupons in a very detailed manner for about an hour or so. I wasn't nervous at all because when it all comes down to it, who doesn't want to save money right?
In retrospect, cutting coupons certainly doesn't take the place of say, getting an instant refund at the store but when you are in a pinch, coupon cutting can be quite therapeutic and enjoyable by all that are involved. I might even go as far as saying that I really want to cut coupons again."
