2006: Year in Review
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
+ Graduated college
+ Had a real job and made real money
+ Moved out of my first apartment
+ Was driven around in the trunk of a car
+ Got really, really, really drunk
+ ... had a hangover
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
+ You know? I don't even know if I made any. I always make a resolution to lose weight and it never happens, so I'm kind of resigned to that now. :) I don't really make resolutions because it's sad to break them. I just have "ideas" for next year.

+ Have a job I don't hate
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
+ Uh. Spencer's unknown girlfriend had a kid. WTF.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
+ No, but Steve Irwin did :(
5. What countries did you visit?
+ ... *sighs*
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you didn't have in 2006?
+ A job I don't hate
+ An apartment that's not in Missouri
+ Jeans in a size 14 or 12
7. What date(s) from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
+ February 20 - my 21st birthday
+ College graduation... May 6? Sad that I don't actually know the date.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
+ Graduating college is pretty up there. The rest is not much of an accomplishment in comparison :)
9. What was your biggest failure?
+ I honestly don't feel I've had any major failures this year. Things I was disappointed in were disappointments, but not failures.
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
+ I BROKE MY SPINE. No, I'm just kidding. I got a really bad cold, but that's it.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
+ A new computer to replace my mother's dinosaur computer ... with my first money from my own real first job. That was pretty important.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
+ Lindsay and Lauren, for being the fun and awesome ladies that they always are --- and Lindsay for being able to succeed in a job she doesn't always like but is good at, and Lauren for having the ingenuity and the balls to start up her own business.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
+ Lindsay and Lauren, because we fought all of the time while I lived there. But we talked about it and worked things out ... like... just before I moved. *laughs* Stress does crazy things to people. So while I was appalled and depressed at the time, as I'm sure they were appalled and depressed by me, I don't feel that way right now.
14. Where did most of your money go?
+ iTunes. You lousy bastard.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
+ Being cast in The Division, where I did not have to play an old lady, but the sexy, flighty sister <3
+ Kingdom Hearts...
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
+ HAHAHA. Hikari, "Simple and Clean" - the theme from Kingdom Hearts
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
+ happier or sadder? - I'm not sure yet. I think I'm sadder in a lot of respects, because I'm so afraid of "real life."
+ thinner or fatter? - Fatter, but not by that much. I lost some weight in 2006 and just gained it back and then some.
+ richer or poorer? - Uh. About the same. I was richer over the summer.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
+ Cuddled Pippin
+ Hung out with my theatre friends from college
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
+ Fighting with Lindsay and Lauren
+ Working at Boone County National Bank
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
+ Christmas was spent at home. :) And it was very nice, except there were no pecan tarts :(
21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
+ If you mean that cute Chinese girl at China Chef...
+ It sucks when the person you find you like a great deal is an ocean away. *shrugs*
22. What was your favorite TV program?
+ Heroes
+ Lost
+ Scrubs
+ SOUTH PARK
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
+ No... no, I don't think so. But I'm kinda pissed off at Exxie for disappearing like she did. However, I'm also really paranoid that she's dead or something so I don't want to jinx myself by being pissed off.
24. What was your greatest musical discovery?
+ My brother. He's awesome, awesome, awesome.

+ Trans-Siberian Orchestra --- their NOT Christmas stuff
25. What did you want and get?
+ Alton Brown's books
+ A new iMac (which was kind of an accident)
+ New clothes that fit me well

+ Uh. A gnome to carry in my pocket.
27. What were your favorite films of this year?
+ Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
+ The Prestige
28. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
+ I turned 21! :D That was nice. Lindsay and Lauren and I went to Olive Garden and then came home and had some liquor and watched... uh... I'm sure we watched movies but I don't remember what.
29. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
+ Losing weight instead of gaining it, but you can't win 'em all. :)
30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
+ Sophisticated but quirky ... I make ugly look good :)
+ ... when I'm not in pajamas.
31. What kept you sane?
+ Pippin :(
32. What was the best book you read?
+ Uh. It's so weird, but I don't really remember what books I read this year. I read good stuff but I'm mizing it up with stuff that I read a while ago. So I'll have to get back to you on that.
33.Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
+ Ian McKellen. :)
34. Who did you miss?
+ Lindsay and Lauren and Pippin :(
35. Who was the best new person you met?
+ Dan, Ryan, and John from Boone County National Bank... they were hella awesome. I should have kept in touch.
36. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006:
+ Sometimes the hardest decisions that you make are nebulous ones... they seem like a good idea that the time and you end up sorely regretting them----but you know that despite that you made the right choice. It's very strange. I don't know what I think about that yet.
